When I first read Harry Potter, and heard about the healing powers of the phoenix tears, I was but amazed. As the book claimed, the tears of this bird has immense healing capabilities. Effective against – Rheumatoid arthritis

Collagen is but a protein, which is responsible for connecting and supporting tissues that are present in the skin and muscles. Joints are generally damaged by the presence of rheumatoid factor and tumor necrosis
which can be found in faulty blood. These were seen to be reduced in levels when a bovine collagen supplement was introduced to the affected. An Argentian study helped arrive at this conclusion.

responsibility of producing new cartilage as and when required. Given this virtue, it is believed that supplements containing shark cartilage would be effective in combating osteoarthritis and will help block its progress.

An independent study conducted in the U.S. went on to prove that this cartilage may also contain a protein that is capable of preventing the growth of tumors, thus making it effective against breast, brain and prostrate cancer.
