    Self-esteem refers to a value that is all about having confidence and respect for oneself and accepting the fact that “I am as important as others in performing or achieving a task”. This does not mean that having a high self-esteem means being rude and having a feeling of being superior to others. It is the self-esteem that influences the manner in which we recognize ourselves among others and how much worthy do we feel about our achievements and character.
